They now own 9.4 million shares, not 17 million they had last filing. They are still more than 5% owner, but have dumped about half their position (smart, I think--tied to Disney, Pixar share price won't budge as they dump). Since this was done now, TCW alone can't decide the vote, I suspect. But I'd say they are voting with their feet. Filings show them not owning a single share of Disney.

Hogs, Thanks for info. So they dumped 8mil shares and Pixar still goes up. We really are pissants! I'm still hanging on until late May or June. I am tempted to dump some and buy more Aapl after it's recent sell off. Thought it was interesting that DIS is talking about selling E! Seems as though maybe they are starting to streamline things and get back to their roots a little bit. There also was talk of them dumping a bunch of middle mgrs.
Cheers, Mac

Hogs, That was great work unearthing that, I couldn't understand what derailed the DIS ascent until you posted that. Too bad someone can't sell holding DIS to TCW. Only with this 2.3 share peg can TCW selling PIXR affect DIS. Used it as an opp to buy 40 contracts of DIS July $30 calls at .40.
