I got burnt by this stock during the telecom meltdown, but have been watching it ever since and re-entered about two years ago. It languished for most of that time, but has recently come alive again. Verizon has been using some TLAB equipment in their recent "fiber to the home" projects. Unfortunately they've recently (last week) had a good pop, so I'd be wary about entering without some serious DD. I'm not exiting, as I've got a cushion under me. Telecom spending has been down for years. If we're every going to get bandwidth sufficient to create worry over video piracy spending will have to increase. If you look at telecom equipment providers (and Corning, who provides the fiber itself) you see evidence the corpse is starting to breathe.

yea, i kick myself repeatedly everytime i think of GLW. i knew it was a good buy under $10.
i've stop "hesitating"; while I don't always pick winners, i'm no longer kicking myself for not "buying" or following something "I see" or "believe".
no comment on TLAB; not a stock that hits or stays on my radar.
